Your Quilt

Our Process

Step 1: Purchase a Deposit

Go to the                                    and save your spot in the queue by purchasing a deposit.

The deposit fee will be applied towards the final cost of your purchase.

Don't have enough items for a quilt? I also offer pillows, which can be made from one item, or a few items.

Please purchase the "pillow deposit" instead of the "quilt deposit".

When your deposit payment has processed, you will receive an automated email with the project intake form.

Step 2: Getting Started!

Pick out the clothing items you would like me to use in your quilt.

Based on how many items you have, decide which size quilt you want.

Be sure to complete the required project intake form that was sent to your email!

Step 3: Prep Your Items

Wash and dry all of your selected articles of clothing so they are fresh and ready for a new life.

Do not use fabric softeners, "scent beads", dryer sheets, or other fabric treatments.

Package your quilts inside a plastic bag to protect them from moisture during transport.

If you don't have any specific preferences for your quilt design, that's ok! I'll arrange them into a design for you.

If you do have preferences about which items you'd like to be grouped near each other in the finished quilt, please package them together in separate bags from the rest of your items, and include a note. (Keep in mind my quilts are assembled from "blocks" that are roughly 21 x 24 inches.)

You do not need to pre-cut your clothing items!

Step 4: Send Your Items

Send me your clothing items and pay the remaining cost for your chosen quilt size (or pillow).

If you are local to NH, you can drop off your box of items at my studio.

If you're further away, you can mail your items. Be sure to provide me with the tracking number so I can anticipate the arrival.

I strongly recommend getting shipping insurance! While many items are special and irreplaceable, having insurance will give you some peace of mind!

Step 5: Final Touches

Once I see your items and start working on a design, I will reach out to confirm the final details.

Step 6: Leave it to me!

For quilts made with baby clothes, I will be using whole items, or large portions of items, laid out in a collage style.

For quilts made from t-shirts, I will be cutting out the areas with an image, graphic, logo, or lettering, and arranging them in a patchwork style. If I need to fill in any gaps between the images/logos, I will use blank sections from the shirts you sent.

Step 7: Love Your Quilt

Once your quilt is completed, I will contact you to let you know it's ready to go home!

Quilts will be shipped with a tracking number and insurance. This information will be provided to you as soon as the quilt is shipped.

If you are local to NH, we can schedule a pickup appointment at my studio.
